Thanksgiving Cell-Group

Hi everyone, today I came back home feeling tired after a long day.. But still, I feel the need to post today... Nowadays rarely find the time to blog, especially as I am preparing to go back school for a final semester. But today is different. Becos today going to my cell-group annual thanksgiving day.

Actually, I anticipated a happy and fun thanksgiving but never expected it to be so great.. Okie, Meet up with Junguo and Chris to travel from Toa Payoh interchange take bus to Serangoon Garden. And up we go to Jeremy's aunt's tuition centre.. We started off playing games, one is called Whacko and another is Body Parts Game.. Enoch and Alvira do forfeit which is quite funny.. After that we watch a video showing the bonding N241 forged together over the past year.

After that is meal time, Jeremy's aunt had prepared wonderful food for us and really thanks her a lot!! Really thanks her for the hospitality she shown to us. After that is Lucky Draw, all of us hoping not to be called early on so that we can grab the big prize, but unfortunately I am called quite early and recieved Pringles Potato Chips.

After that comes to the main part, thanksgiving, and everyone of us take turns to thanks each other for all the wonderful things that they have recieved from one another.. Really some of them really give awesome speech.. And finally is the closing of the Angel and Mortal Game.. Hui Ping has been working with me all these weeks and it has really been nice working with her.. Everyone finally knows who their secret angel is and I quite glad that everyone recieves presents.. I feel that after doing all those for one another, we all finally being blessed back which is quite a very wonderful feeling. Thanksgiving ends soon after that, and thinking back, it has really been great time spent there.

Holiday - Time to replenish myself

Today is Hari Raya Haji, no need go work, so have 3 days of rest.. which come quite handly for me, considering myself working the routine job all weekdays long.. Have some things which need to update:

Well, I get back my results a couple of days ago and the results are as good as I can ask for. Really have to thanks God for his grace upon me.. Still got 1 more semester, so still have to work hard, but I still want to enjoy life as a student at the same time, believe next year I will rise up to the challenge. So I looking forward going back to school.

And u know what, facebook is really cool and essential.. What is good is it links me back to my very secondary school classmates from CCHS(Main).. Remember those oldies time (actually I means a couple of years ago, I still young and youthful..... in the classroom.... But know what, I am nolstagic.. I miss all those classmates of mine, never contact them since those days together... We really forge valuable friendships back then and many wonderful, funny and lovable time together... Only those of us back then will understand ya.. And from their profile know that they are doing well, got even get married one, feeling blissful for them... sigh!! when my turn (kidding) haha.. Nvm... we going have a class gathering soon, during the Christmas season period.. Can see those classmates of mine.. And be suprised.. some of them have really changed a lot beyond recognition.. But of course looking more charming and beautiful then ever.. So the gathering is something that keep me in anticipation..

I also like to highlight the success of the first ever Asian Conference held last month.. It has ended but believe everyone who got there have gained something.. The presence is extraordinary.. And very glad to be able to invite Pastor Phil Pringle, Pastor AR Bernard, Pastor Benny Him, Pastor Ulf Ekman and not to forget our own Pastor Kong Hee.. and also all the delegates who has travel all the way.. Asia Conference 2010, lets us look ahead!

This month will be fun, I like festive season lots.. Lets enjoy, be trying to pack my schedule this period to really to gain full enjoyment!!!!!

Exams Over, Holiday Time

Well, quite glad that exams had ended for me last Thursday.. It had been a long and tiring preparation for a whole month, can finally rest. Some of my friends had said that I have slimmed down, which is not a good thing for me.. So this holiday I really have to work on getting some weight back, have to consume more food and exercises more often.

Holiday already.. People will think about going overseas.. too bad I not rich.. But relieved that i am having a temporary job soon. Will be starting work this Tuesday. To me, It is actually quite good as I dun't have to spend two months troubling about how to spend my holiday. I am glad to have a job to keep me occupied during this period of time.

Me also have to start spending time in keeping myself fitter.. I always believed in having a healthy body. Health is always more important than all the richness in the world one can contain.

This year is coming to an end.. And I am really looking forward to Christmas. That is the time where everyone thanks each other for all their care and love which has been shown. And where everyone reflect on all the wonderful and precious memories they have for the whole year. And I knows that I have lots of wonderful thoughts to reflect upon.. Really looking forward to it. So for everyone else, lets look forward to it eagerly.

Reflecting My Thoughts

Know what.. I now very tired.. since yesterday after my final test had ended.. Why??I know i should be very happy bah, but really tired, only sleep 1 and a half hour before that.. So I have been trying hard to catch more sleep. So these days, I will give myself more time to rest. And yesterday, when i going library, I even went to have some nap there, Yup.. I am tired to that extent..

And today just came back after meeting Vino, Xiu Wen, Tiong Kun, Sampson, Cherie and Kenneth in the library.. ah never see little Eunice and little Jia Yin.. really miss them.. Cherie's laptop very fun to play, can still drew many pictures... Later we went Kopitiam bumped into Christopher and when Tiong Kun was just discussing about him, so coincidence!

Had been thinking a lot over the past few weeks.. About my future path.. I turning 25 soon. Is already not that young already.. I be planning so much.. For i know that good planning is important for a smooth journey ahead of us.. Wanna keep challenging myself, in future, still want to go study master degree.. Regret that last time in JC and poly I never work hard in my studies.. But it is okie, now i doing well in my bachelor programme.. I want so much to have a career that i have so much passion for and I really looking very forward to it.. And i believe that as long I keep working hard, everything is achievable. I will be graduating by the mid of next year and I know it is not that long, wanna get a job and have some financial stability.

But everyday of my life, when I look back, especially since I become a Christian, I never regret it.. I feel that each day I getting more and more mature in my thinking and i know that every decision which I had made was the best which I could. I glad that I have a wonderful bunch of Christian friends, who have been supporting me and accompany me whenever I need it. Well, I getting tired.. tomorrow still has lecture. A Short Update

Okie kk, I update lah.. okie.. that's it. Life is really busy for me lah.. not just studies lah, sometimes has to accompany here and there.. and sometimes has to do this and that... sometime has to relax here and then... sometimes has to enjoy here and then.. all these takes up lots of my time.. and of course i need time to rest also.. Why not just look at some of my recent photos..

Tiring Weekend

This weekend is unlike usual, where usually Saturday and Sunday are the time for me to relax, sit down or lying down at some places, enjoying the air-con, which I always enjoy. How come leh?

Well, Saturday, I went for my IPPT test, which active NS men need to take during their one year window break, which they must clear the day before their next birthday. For me, I managed to attain silver. I just checked the NS website and compared with my last year IPPT results, and not only I improved from pass to silver. I managed to achieve improvements in all the 5 stations. I think the difference is due to having that extra belief, to really believe and really works towards what you desires. Next year IPPT will be more relaxing for me, since I passes 25 years of age, and all the 5 stations will be easier, so of course I will be more confident to achieve silver. But I know the importance of exercising and maintaining a fit and healthy body.

Saying of exercising, just came back from a badmintion and basketball session with some of my church friends. Got Jeremy, Vino, Xuiwen, Sikai, Tiong Kun, Samuel, Guru and the W16 young fellows. And has to say Dominic is a very skilful badminton player. With all the energy and determination I had, I still lost out to him. Well, has to admit he is a better badmintion player than me. Had quite a few good badminton games with a lot of the rests also. Then after that played a few basketball games. My form during then was quite okay lah.

During the session, we still managed to find time to celebrate Eunice's birthday. Well..... we ate out a 1.5kg of chocolate cake among us and also gave Eunice a birthday present and quite glad that she was happy for the celebration we had planned for her.

My work is ending soon as the beginning of July I have to get back to school to study. I am quite glad to has this job during the holiday. This weekend is tiring but is enjoyable. Me trying to sleep early today. Have to go.

My Holiday Break

Well, this is supposed to be holiday time.. but work is much more busier than dealing with studies. Time is quite limited so i shall write a short blog entry and a quick recap of the past few weeks..

June 1 was cell group outing. Me, Jasmine and Junguo were the game organizers, and we really put in much effort for the games. The weather that day was very good and sure we had a great time.

A few days later, i got back my exam results. Had been waiting very eagerly and my results have been satisfying for the hard work i had put in the past few months.

During the thursday of that week, I played badminton with my classmates, and had a good session of exercising my body.

Just the last Saturday and Sunday was the Neo Camp. Had a good bonding with members from E376, they are nice and friendly fellows, and also with Samuel and Vino. But the exercises were quite tiring and my muscles still ache at the time of blogging. But really, I enjoyed the camp. So, that is all folks. Sorry for the short entry, really tired. Tomorrow still has to work, has to get sufficient rest, I shall blogs on another day.

It's Vesak Day

Well, today has a very good sleep.. It is good to replenish myself for a better new day.. Well, today meet Vino to Bugis. Meet her in the afternoon. We go there to take neo-prints cards.. Taking neo-prints cards are not cheap, but still for the sake of remembrance we still go and take it.. Here is it..

After that, we went to buy a birthday present for a friend of mine, as well as going for some shopping at Bugis Street.. Later we go to the Food Junction at Bugis Junction. The new Food Junction is much cosier than before, and there got plentiful food selection to make. So I have a tough time deciding what food to eat.. I will definetely be going back there to eat again some other day. It is a good day for me, but a bit tired.. Has to rest soon, tomorrow, is back to work for me. Will be looking forward to weekends.

Life during the school holidays

Well, my exams have been over for more than a week already, and in the middle of the night, i finally has the time for blogging stuffs... these few weeks have been exhausted and i glad that it is Vesak Day, which means i no need to work today.. After my exams are over, the next day i get back to work in my previous company. Despite the tiredness, i am still glad to get back to office, not because i miss my work, but to seeing back some of my colleagues. It is awesome going back to an old place where i has spent 10 months and countless night slogging so hard.. However, has to say that life in school is always more relaxing than life as a working adult. But whether in my work-place or in school, I glad that there are always friends i look forward to seeing..

The morning I just go for sunday church service, havent go for sunday service for many months already.. I reach expo early but Des is even more earlier than me... Church service talks about the importance of prayer time. After service, went to has lunch with Des at the food court at Simei and has a great chit-chat session with her. After that, went back home. Nowadays, my best relaxation activity is staying at home and play PSP, it is a cool form of relaxation. Well, everything is doing fine for me in my life and i cant ask for much more.. Just hope that weekend can be long, resting has never been enough for me.

Tight but enjoyable week

Well, i just now go and watch a singing competition (semi-finals) that Jasmine took part and happy that she managed to get into the finals. But i am quite amazed by the depth of talent. Look like it is going to be a tough fight for her but i got confidence in her.

Hmmm.. these days really busy, so i write only a bit. Monday go celebrate Felicia's birthday at my favourite hang-out place at Pitstop cafe. Really joyful to see her and Esther... remember the time where i always have lunch with them and Jeremy and Darryl during lunch-break. Time flies by... She and Esther always bring joy whenever i see them. Nowadays doesnt see them much but wish them well all the times. And this week happen to see Jeremy a few times. Great hang-out place with great friends, well, life is joyful because of these happy moments together, nothing much to complain about... Enough talk, really has to get back to my life as a student, these few weeks will be keep occupied with school-works. Below is the photo taken together at Pitstop cafe.

I really really like this song a lot. Has replay this song a few times and doesnt get tired of it... This song is nice and sweet and the whole lyric is very meaningful. Hannah Montana has an attractive voice and I like the rhythm also. Hope u all like this song also.

Great Chalet

I have just come back a while ago from a chalet. Well, this chalet is not like usual, becos it consists of a big group, think probably had 50-60 plus people going. Well, this is a chalet organized for my whole lecture class. Actually at the beginning, the response was not very good, but the chalet has been a success to eventually get this much people attending. My hangout mates at first not coming, but in the end most of them also came, so is quite happy for me.

The whole chalet was quite interesting. After having our fill of bbq, we played the amazing race. But the biggest achievement of course is getting to know a lot of my lecture mates, really great! I really have fun there. Here is a photo taken at the chalet:

Going Back to school

Well, school has already begun a week ago, and really, life as a student is fantastic, even though I am much busier than before, has to keep myself disciplined in doing homeworks and those revision to have a better understanding. But no matter what, I like schooling..... I have a great school orientation the friday before school started. And hey, the friends i meet there are nice... Always great to go lecture and get to see them!

Somehow this year has been tougher as I has set myself high targets, but I truly believe that I can fufil them.
