Finally, some break for me!
My last day at work happen to be Friday, and thanks to Jocelyn, that she treats me to eat for lunch... Really nice of her consider that she is financially tight. Then at 7pm, it happens to be the company annual dinner and we went down to Xi Yan restaurant at Craigh Road (quite near company) My colleagues, knowing is my last day, bugged me to eat more due to extra servings. Any at the end of the day, my stomach seems to has bloated... But the food is fantastic, especially the scarlop and the lychee icecream cake, absolutely YUMMY... And during the dinner, we play a interesting game. Each team are given turns to pick a envelope which consists of a question and we have to guess correctly 10 answers for each question. The team that guess the most wins. Unluckily, our team pick hard questions, resulting in loss, luckily there is no forfeit... The team that wins managed to win cash vouchers of notable amount... The end of the annual dinner also marks the end of my working life for the time being.
The next day, which happen to be Saturday, happen to be thanksgiving meeting for our cell-group... Jeremy's aunt has prepared food for us and i really thanks her for her effort. Straight after that, we played a game, called "The Marketplace", where each team has to conquer 5 different areas, namely: "Art, Media, Education, Government, Business". The loser team, which is led my Jeremy, eventually was punished to do what each other players tell them to do, and they do funny actions like "sliding", "peel banana" and "shaking their buttocks"!! Haha! When comes to the thanksgiving, it gets to be quite touching when each of us are given a chance to express their thankfulness and gratitude, till it comes to Vino's turn, where while she thanks people, she also takes the chance to mock at them... The whole session lasts approximately 2 and a half hours. It doesnt seems long to me and is definetely the most memorable for N241 up to date... Then we rushed down to church by cab..
Year end church service is never completed without singing "should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind"..... and all those hugging and thankings..... Church ends and off our way to Botak John which sells Western food. The Cajun chicken steak is served with a large potion which I took quite some time to consume... Later, I went back with Vino and I find time to go her house for a little chat as well as serving the net. We are putting new post to N241 blog and later we still spend time to go msn and surfing other stuffs. Wah, it has been a long day, but good to spare the time before my school term starts where I definetely will be busy...
A few recaps of the past few weeks... Shall talks about the Christmas period...
I went for Saturday Christmas service, really enjoy the "Christmas at Chang" drama, which talks about Mr Chang, the owner of a mega department store, how he changes from a bad boss to one that is full of feelings to employees. Really, Christmas season is a time to show our love to family and friends. Especially through expressing thankfulness and not to forget, giving gifts, haha, this Christmas recieve some very nice gifts, and really thanks to Vino, Desiree and Esther. For they really take the time and effort to send me very nice christmas gifts. Gals I great when comes to showing care to people.
Sunday, went to Jeremy's aunt's Christmas party with Vino, Lionel and Weifoong... They has a buffet there and we eat to our fullness. Then comes the exchanging of gift and I get a teddy bear!! Later, it is a bit funny as we stand up and dance and sing in circle. The wild part arrives soon when we spray soap foams to one another. That is very interesting and exciting except that at the end, the whole place is a mess. And we have to stay back for 1 hr to clean up the whole place. Rarely get so wild, enjoy it!
The following Monday, after work, my relatives has organized a party, and my family, except my elder brother, who meet his friends, went there. The place is at Downtown east where we book a chalec. Upon reaching, we went for barbecue before proceeding up to the room to watch TV. Getting bored, some of us play manjong. Reached home very late that day and I dozed off to sleep.
Tuesday, went to watch late movie with Tiong Kun. We watched "National Treasure 2". Tiong Kun find the show a bit boring... but I like it a lot, the show is full of puzzles and mystery. Interesting!! And the part where Nicholas Cage attempted to kipnap the president to find out the President's Book is really thrilling... Great show!!
Okie, this mark the whole Christmas period I have. Christmas is about having fun!! Hope next year Christmas season will be even greater.. Definetely look forward to it...
Hmmm, thinking of other great event. Got it...
During Hari Raya Haji, want down with some of my cell-group members to Pitstop Cafe, is a cafe selling western food while having lotz of boardgames... similar to settler's cafe... I like the environment and ambience there.. We played quite a few games, want to highlight two games, supposely called Imaginiffs and Creamion. Imaginiffs is played where each player's name is written upon the board, and each player's turn allow them to throw the dice to see his game piece lands on who, then he is supposed to pick a card which ask a question to the person who his game piece lands on. The card show MCQ regarding the person, and each player has to choose the option... and the option which most person guess wins and can proceed steps. The first to reach the finishing line wins. Creamion is a game with different type of cards to choose from, where we may have to act it out, draw or solve problems. At the end, we take a group photo, which we are allowed to paste on to their wall.
Well, this year has been quite relaxing to me. Other than work, which is still quite enjoyable, I am quite slacked, often going out to have fun. So next year, will be looking to new challenges ahead... But really thanks God for this year, for everything has been smooth for me. Of course, next year, there are many things I be looking forward to, but i definetely do miss this year.

Preparing for a fresh new breath of life
I shall update regarding the last few weeks. Find that as it is the raining season, many people around me suffered from flu and other from cough, sore throat. So what I can do is keep praying for them. Weekdays is work for me, work can be dull at times. I often go for lunch with a bunch of exciting fellows. Jeremy is the guy who eats very fast. While Darryl can order quite lots of food, depending on his appetite. If lucky, sometimes can get to eat the nice food he has bought. Esther, who is in Jeremy's department, is a new friend whom I know for one month plus already. She is very chatty and what amazed me is she somehow has quite a big appetite also! As for Felicia, she is the most occupied in her work, but still will get to see her. My work contract will be ending in a while time as I has to go back to studying at SIM in January next year. Time really flies and somehow I will be missing these friends of mine as I may not be seeing them so often~
Yesterday, which happen to be a Saturday, I wake up early for some admission matters for my SIM education. Also, make the payment for the first installment. Managed to finance my own school fees after these period of working. So that my parents need not worry about my school fees because they are also financially tight at times. I really very eager to go back to experience a whole new school life. Will look forward to knowing many friends there. i know that my stay at SIM will be a place that shape and mould my character and future life. Will be very anticipating the school term and what lies ahead of me.
Having say all these, I really appreciate the life I am leading so far and look forward to greater time, one that is full of satisfaction!

A Weekend Of Fellowshipping
Sunday i attend morning service, meet up with Vino. Almost have to rush as I woke up late! Off we went to service and the service is already on its way. Miss a bit of the worship songs, which i always enjoy the most. I see the "sunday service" members :Desiree and Yi Xing. They are two very nice fellows, and it is great having fellowship with them after service for a meal. Hope they able to join us for saturday cell group meeting and church service.
After that, off me, Vino and Jeremy went to meet Lionel for some shopping. And we go to City Hall and then Bugis there to look for the stuffs we wanted. Have a tedious time shopping but glad that we managed to find what we wanted. They all very tired after all these journey except me. Ha, my endurance level is much higher. Can see their tiredness but also the satisfaction they get through the shopping. After that we go KFC for dinner. Then I accompany Vino back home. I really believe that we all enjoy ourselves that day.

Entering a new phase of my life
Larry, Kelvin and Jeremy had came down to show their support. And I really feel very appreciated that Vino rushes down even through she know it just an hour plus before the ceremony started. I have mixed feelings, a bit nervous and excited at the same time. Me and Ngai Kai had to read the apostles' creed and made declaration of our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. After that, we queue up to be dip in the pond. Going through this is necessary as it lets us experience how Jesus dies for us, was buried and then resurrected again.
Queuing took some time as there was around 120 people also waiting to be baptized. After Ngai Kai's turn is my turn. The process is quite short and what i felt was that I was totally drenched. Go up and see Vino laughing at us being soaked. Has to thanks Jeremy that he took video of us going through the water baptism. I have included the video clip just below this post, feel free to take a view.
Really thanks to those who came down all the way to show their support. I strongly believe that being baptized will bring my relationship with God to a new level, being able to recieve more grace and more of his annointing. It also commits the faith that I have in him. Through this, I really hopes that I can get more calling from God to excel in abundance in the maket-place, to be the salt of the earth and light of the world. Some day, I not only want to be someone who penetrate the market-place, but also bring new perspectives and dimensions to the society, not to forsake having surpassing righteousness. My ambition may be a bit far-stretch as it seems, but as long i get the calling from the almighty lord, everything is achievable. Because god is a great god and he makes all things possible. Thanks god for all he has provided for me so far. Me and the others also took time for some photo-shooting together.

Siezing The Moment and Opportunities
Praise and worship just ended
~
N241 - Formal Cell-group photo
~
Straight after that is church service. Wow, the preacher is Joyce Meyer. Really anticipating her powerful word. What she shared with us is about siezing the moment and not missing out on the opportunities. Many times we face opportunities and it is up for us to step and be the one to have the faith and guts to face it. Like the 12 disciples of Jesus, Peter is the only one who attempt the walk on the river. The rest just sit on the boat, not trying anything. As Christians, we need to have the faith in us that with the holy spirit that we have, we can overcome any difficulties. And we need to be the one to step forward and make the difference. Joyce Meyer also tell us that we should not be bothered about yesterday and worry about tomorrow. Just need to live today as it comes and take things easy and our life will be much happier.
After that, we went to Black Board to eat. The stall name is quite funny. But the food really tastes nice. They sell western food and pastas. My recommendation is to try the chicken afredo pasta, really very nice. You can ask my cell-group members.
Now I shall share a worship song,
Come, holy spirit fall on me now
I need your annointing come in your power
I love you holy spirit
You've captivated my soul
And everyday I grow to love you more
I reaching for your heart
You hold my life in your hand
Drawing me closer to you
I feel your power renew
Nothing compares to you
Where i can see you face to face
I worship you
In spirit and in truth
My thoughts is full of this song at the moment. It reveals my feelings. That i grow to love god more and more each single day. My relationship with god is always improving. Like when praying to god, I got more things to tell him. And also, I always feel the power of the holy spirit and annointing god has given to me. I also glad that god send me to N241. This cell-group is relatively new, but the members are really awesome. Thanks god for that.
Well, this day is even more tired and I still stay awake to write this blog entry. Because this day is really quite meaningful to me. Well, another day will come and I will take things as they comes my way.

Feasting And The Festival Of Praise
So I shall talk about last saturday.Because other than day, my life is quite boring loh. Okie, saturday we have a free-style lunch affair buffet ( self-bought or cooked food ) at Jeremy's house. Sponser: None~, Commitee Head - Jeremy, Organizer/Planner - MING WEI, participants: Lots~ N241. I suppose to meet some of them to buy some food, none cooked at all siah. I arrive early because have to, doesnt seen anyone of them! Sad, everyone dunt give me face. Next time dunt coo-ordinate anymore (kidding!). A while later, at least Junguo and Christopher come. We meet at Kovan, Jeremy says the food nice there, so they we go. As we went there, I am the only one who go and choose the food, the two of them just chit-chat. Ai yah, ask them come to chit-chat ah. So have to ask them carry some of food or else defeat the purpose of coming. I buy carrot cake, yong tau foo - lots of fishball, tau pok and also fried oyster. After that, off we went to Jeremy's house.
Upon reaching, seen Cassandra and Xiu Wen there already, both of them must be eagerly waiting for the food. This i can see through their "eagerly waiting for food" looks. I look at the table and see a whole feast of food and tibits. Jeremy, well, need to praise him for the well preparation. Feel like rushing immediately to makan the food, but still have to wait for the rest. Finally, we decide to wait unil 1.30 pm. The late-comer can only blame themselves if no more food remaining. Suppose if some evil person finish the whole food. ( of course dunt expect such thing to happen, because my nature of my cell group members are easy-going, kind and generous)
Time starts and all go forward to take the food and drink. I am supposed to do so. Just at this moment, recieved a call, so I go to attend to it. So there I am, talking on the phone while see the satisfying looks on the others while they happily consumed the food. But after that, glad to see still a lot of food remaining. The fried oyster seems to be a good buy, since I get quite good feedback and that it doenst take long to finish. Urh, Enoch with his busy schedule comes and have to applause him for clearing most of the food.
After that, we went over to Singapore Indoor Stadium for the FOP (Festival of Praise). By the time we reach there, the queue is quite long as we have to queue from over the bridge. It didnt take very long for us to enter, as we eagerly anticipating the FOP to start. Actually is to hear Delirious, their performance is really awesome. Dunt know when can hear live performance from them again. Even though in the end, they played quite a few of their hits, but I believe most audience like me I still hungry for more.
Their last song also marks the end of the FOP. Time is quite late already. Me, Christopher, Vino and Cassandra go off together but many people like us also waiting for bus. Take much time finally reached the MRT and managed to board the last train. Reaching home, I will be having much rest. Monday to Friday I work with overtime and Saturday also stretch the whole day, Sunday will also have things to do, well, life is like this. Keeping life busy also brings fufilment.

The World of Bloggers
The award winners are: Steven Lim, Maia Lee, "Ice Angel", Lao Zhao Bor, Maddox, Celeste Chen and Xiaxue herself. Let me have a brief description of what I know about these bloggers.
~
http://www.stevenlim.net/
Steven Lim - those who have watched Singapore Idol should know the famous act he does, stripping in front of the judges during the auditions. And how he proclaims himself as world's most handsome guy! is he? You have to ask him personally why he think so. Not only what he do, what he says is also amazed and it is not hard for him to make newspaper headlines. Have to say he is a very bold person.
~
~
http://starblog.stomp.com.sg/blogger.php?userid=34
Maia Lee - Singapore Idolist finalist, other than her past relationship with Sylvester, nothing much interesting to talk about her.
~
~
http://the-miracle-season.blogspot.com/
Ice Angel - a young blogger, 17 years of age. Her blog some sorts of interesting. And she definetely derserves some compliments for it.
~
http://laozhabor.blogspot.com/
Lar Zhao Bor - an old woman who have the courage to admit what she is. Her looks may be what her nickname describes but she certainly has a young heart and mind. Whether others accept it or not is another matter.
~
~
http://maddox.xmission.com/
Maddox - who is he? But like what Xiaxue says, his blog is indeed really interesting.
~
~
http://www.celestechen.com/
Celeste Chen - the girl who grabs attention through her so-called relationship with Xu Bin (the Wu Zun look-alike) And she certainly makes good use of it to gain much fame.
~
~
Last but not least is Xiaxue herself, she is a super famous blogger and her blog postings usually create much discussion.
Doesnt think that Xiaxue uses this topic to gain more popularity. ( she already popular enough) I saying this from what I really thinks was because I dunt have any liking or anything against her. But has to say that those in her list should some sort of feeling honoured because if you are not popular, who will care about writing anything about you. Anyway, to attract lots of visitors, you have to write something amazing to grab their attention. So who cares if some feel you are a disgusting blogger or not, as long as your blog is popular, you are already a winner.

A Farewell Lunch
This farewell dinner was specially for Jesslyn (Felicia had left some days ago). But Felicia, who is her very good friend, rushed down from her workplace to give her a surprise. We met earlier than usual and managed to get seats. We let Jesslyn chose what to eat. Each of us bought one dish and shared. Jeremy then go and buy desserts, and with Darryl having a big appetite, they finished the food within a short while. Later, we still went and had muffins.
The lunch was a short affair and it was time to bid them farewell. No matter what, hope they be doing well in their future.

Tiong Kun and Vino ~ Birthday Celebration
Relaxing
~
Jeremy, Si Kai and Birthday Boy Tiong Kun
~
I decided to order fish and chip and we went with the girls and guys individual package consisting of 2 hrs free gaming and free flow of drinks. While waiting for the food, we choose games (either board or card game) to play. We divided into two groups playing seperate games. My group played with a stack of cards. The game play is simple, each of us takes turn to flip open one card and once 3 same cards appear, we have to shout "Ugly Ugly" and snatch those cards over. The person who snatchs the most wins. After a while I find this game quite boring and switch to the other group. They had just started another game. This game sounds more interesting where each team has to clear the obstacle in its path before moving on to the next. The obstacle requires us to guess the word or verse through different forms of drawing or through actions. The team that reachs the ending point wins. While we were playing, the food arrived and we ate as we played.
We didn't get to complete the game as it was to time to bring out the birthday cake. We sang birthday song to Tiong Kun and then to Vino. Vino was quite suprised because she never expected it. Here is a photo of the birthday boy and girl with the birthday cake.
~
~
We later blessed them with birthday gifts! Tiong Kun's gift included a colourful watch which we feel will look nice on him. Below are some photos for your viewing ~
I believes many of us enjoy ourselves there. Great to have such celebration together.

Murder / Adultery / Divorce & Remarriage
Saturday continues another lesson of SOTM (Sermon on the Mount). it focus on some of the 10 commandments: Murder, Adultery, Divorce and Remarriage. What is written in the pharisees and scribes try to relax/loosen the 10 commandments.
Let me explain: "You shall not murder" means that murdering a human being is a capital sin, where blood must be spill from that person and this life shall be gone. Jesus teaches us that we must have righteousness that surpasses that of the Pharisees and scribes. He come to give the 10 commandments a new definition so that it may not be misled through some loopholes in the Pharisees and scribes. Thus "You shall not murder" also means that deep in our mind, we must not have hatred to someone without valid reasons, because it is a sin commited as if we have hatred in our mind, our heart wont be cleansed and we wont have eternal life in heaven. Whether our heart is pure or not depends on the ways we treat others as we ourselves expect others to teach us, such as we shouldnt be biased against certain groups of people.
"Neither shall you commit adultery" in the Pharisees and scribes means catching your wife/husband in bed with another person. But the true teaching of the law that Jesus sought to restore is that once you are married, you cannot have lust to another person, whoever else is it. Once the lust is in you, you are already considered to have commited adultery.
Divorce and Remarriage- As Christians, we are forbided to divorce and remarriage unless under the following circumstances:
- Your spouse committing adultery,
- Your spouse past away
- Your spouse after marriage is still a non-believer and she chooses to seperate with you
- Divorcing at a time where you are still non-believer
Controlling our actions may be seem rather hard, but rather than manipulating our body parts as what the pharisees and scribes says, what it really means is disregarding / disfunctioning these body parts , that is we must have a strong mentality that overcomes our body and as long we achieve it, we can be proud of ourselves being a Christian.
The service is quite interesting and meaningful. After that, the rest of us have a simple meal affair in Long John Silver at Century Square.
Sunday afternoon, I meet up with Christopher and Junguo to Bugis to buy a birthday gift for another good friend of ours. Have a hard time looking for the right gift but still find one that matches his style. And after we go nearby to eat Katong Laksa, really taste spicy but absoutely fantastic. Life is great eating this sort of stuff. Yah, this is another enjoyable weekend.

Transformers - Truly a Classic Hit
Yesterday, met up with some guys, my usual hangout mates, Christopher, Junguo, Tiong Kun and Lionel, to watch this highly-anticipated film. We had actually planned to watch at The Cathay Cineplex, but there were only 4 seats remaining whereas there were 5 of us. So, me and Christopher walked all the way to Shaw House but the screening time was too late. I went to Bugis Junction Golden Village to check and was told that there was no screening of Transformers. Time was not early anymore and I started to panic. Also, had to mention that I coincidentally bumped into Jeremy and it was nice of him to accompany us even through he was too tired to watch the movie with us. I decided to go Suntec City movie theatre and whatever the outcome, we called it a day there. Fortunately, we managed to get a right timing there to watch Transformers.
This movie surrounded a high-school boy by the name of Sam Witwicky. Upon getting good grades and saving some money, his father agreed to pay partial amount to buy him a car. The car was quite old-fashioned and it appeared to be Bumble Bee, who was his guardian. Bumble Bee and his teammates had come to prevent the Decepticons from getting a special energy-giving cube. The bonding between Sam and Bumble Bee was very strong, which made this movie very touching. The action part was very thrilling and the CG screens are flawless. The ending was quite nice where the Autobots remain on earth as vehicles, protecting mankind. I rates this as the best movie I has seen so far for this year. It is up to "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix " to challenge it.

Portraying Ourselves
Saturday during church service discussed about the old testament/new testament. That the arrival of Jesus on earth is not to change or cancel any part of the law as written in the old testament. Instead, through his teaching, Jesus wants us to have a better understanding of it. Jesus brings what he knows and make revelation through the new testament. The 10 commandments are also what we Christians need to obey because with it comes our integrity and the way we should lead out life. Pastor Kong also said that we, as Christians need to have a social life that that truly reflect us as Christians. Because we can tell others that we are Christians, but if our actions and image doesnt reflect what a Christian with the holy spirit should be, then it will be hard for us to have influence on others, needless to say have impact to their life.
Sunday, I called Jeremy in the afternoon to ask him something. He was still with Cassendra and Vino. We decided to meet at Lot 1, together with Vino. After having a simple dinner at food court there, We decided to go somewhere else, while Vino had to leave. We decided to go X-square there to play X-box. We first play Dynasty Warrior, which I played a few times before already. Later on, we played NBA live 2006. I had a hard time challenging with Jeremy and in the end I losed. i will be looking forward to a rematch with him some other day.

What A Coincidence
As I was talking to him and crossing the street just opposite Bugis Junction, we saw Jeremy and another cell group member, Nikin if I am not wrong. it was Zhi Hong who saw him first and we was quite suprised to see them. Well, Singapore is so small and the hangout places are so few, so it is something that is normal to occur. They had consumed their meal already but as it was not that late, they accompanied us to have a conversation.
Zhi Hong is quite an easy-going guy and he let me decide go where to eat. (Well, I enjoy going out with this type of people, easy to get along with). I always past by a makan place which I feel is not bad, but yet havent try there yet, so decided to give it a try. It appeared that it was also the same place that Jeremy and Nikin just had their meal, so coincidence! Once there, Nikin walked over to a table and Jeremy gives a laugh and say that it was the same table they just had their meal. Wow, everything so coincidence! Ha Ha! i didnt order the wan tun noodles they order previously becos eaten it a few days ago only. I ordered rice with small piece of fried chicken pieces. It tastes nice, really worth it.
After Jeremy and Nikin left, i continued having conversation with Zhi Hong. It is really nice to talk with him, even though just know him, can talk to him everything, no need avoid certain topics. We talk lots of topic, and focus more on what is our future plans. I believe that as long as he gives his heart to God and willing to strive hard, it is only a matter of time before he achieves success. but that will be after serving over his national service. Still long way for him to go. It is time for us to go back, and it is another day I stay late. Never mind, anyway used to it already.

Really Exhausted
I got an appointment with my church friends to go for karaoke session. Still early, so go library first to read books and as well as getting some much deserved rest. I met them around 9pm, and after consuming our meals, we go to the ktv. There is much queue there and even though we had make advance booking, it was only after some waiting that we was being attended and led to a room. Total we had 7 people and the room was more than spacious for us. It was Lionel's rare trip to karaoke. He was supposed to be quite shy singing to so many of us. However once inside, after I had started singing, he grabbed the other microphone and starting singing. He grew bolder and even had solo singing. Can see he really engrossed in singing. Christopher liked usual impressed us with his "Stefanie Sun and Faye Wong" voice. It had been an enjoyable night for me(not sure for others), always had been whenever I go karaoke.
Sunday suppose to attend morning service, but really very tired. Cant get that energy to wake up to go to Expo. Morning, Christopher gave me a call to talk about some thoughts that he had. It is quite long that we have a good conversation and gladed that he found me to talk about it. Then after hanging up the phone, I continued sleeping before waking up in the early afternoon and then got back to my partime work. Sunday night their business even much better and I am even more busy. Not only me, the other staffs there also were tired. It was only after some time that work ends. This day ended for me, but another day, still have to get back to my office work. Well, once I earn enough money for my school fees, there will be more rest for me.

With Greater Fame Comes Greater Responsibilities
Since there isnt anything rejuvenating in my life recently, I shall share with u all my thoughts on an article I just saw. The title as "Jail Term was a message from god, says Paris Hilton". I suppose many of you have hear about this case happening to the rich heirness. She had at first retaliate against the sentence of 45 days jail term, thinking it was a harsh punishment. After she relunctantly go to serve her jail sentence, she was released after 3 days to instead serve her sentence at her home. Wow, imagining probation in such a luxury house, any one will galdly do so.
In the article, she say that she will change from her past party-loving lifestyle to become a positive role model for teenagers and womens to look up to. She will probably give up her stylish and lucrative lifestyle and instead use her fame into good use where she say that she hope to spread awareness about breast cancer, multiple sclerosis, etc. With this new perspective of life within her, it will not only benefits her, but also world-wide teenagers adoring her. Most of them idolize her and every action of her will be an example they will look up to. Like what she says, I believe it is God that bring revival in her life.
I look also like to highlight the part which talks about her willingness in accepting the punishment sentenced to her. It not only applies to her. Often, our actions will have some sort of influence of others just that we dunt think about it. Her case illustrate to us that we have to take responsibilities for our own actions.
I hope other celebrities also take care of their own image, dunt appear on newspaper headlines for the wrong reason, because what they do may have negative impact on others, especially their fans who may be influenced. Not carrying a bad social image is a responsibilty and duty that is entrusted to them so as is to their fame.
In conclusion, I will like to say that the case regarding Paris Hilton not only serve as a lesson for her, it is also something a lot of us should learn from.

Penetrating the Marketplace
Jesus has disciples who have profession in different trades. We too are equipped with different talents and it is up to us to use those talents to make a real impact in the marketplace. As Christians, we are truly blessed and have the holy spirit within us and we should be the one making the difference in the society. For the church to grow and experience a breakthrough, it is neccessary for us to place more emphasis on impacting the marketplace. Only this can the society see the influence that we Christians have made. We are supposed to be an asset, not liablity and it is up to us to prove our worth.
After the service, our cell group decided to go the a hawker centre that is at Bedok. There are quite little varities of food there as many of the food stalls are closed already. I have actually intend to buy the fishball noodles but give up my intentions after seeing the long queue. So I buy the Chao Guo Tiao. Christopher buy the fishball noodles after much queuing but it doesnt smell as nice as the queue suggested. We get to share a plate of chicken satays which I has to say is absolutely fantastic, won't be long before I come back here and try it again.

Life's Greatest Asset
To far as I am concerned, there is no other asset more important than health. Yet a lot of people seems to neglect it. Recently, some of my loved ones fall ill ( cough, sore throat, whatever illness). The one coughing still drink a lot of soft drinks. Like that no matter how much medicine, herbal tea he takes also not recover. I really hope they take care of thier health.Because it is cruel to let those people concerning them worry.
Actually, prevention is better than cure. It is neccesary for us to take good care of our health. I know nowadays many of us are too busy to exercise. I understand because it apply to me as well. The time when I exercise is when perparing and taking IPPT. I confident can pass it, but aiming for silver, will be given more cash reward. If no time exercise try to get sufficient sleep, this should be possible if you sacrifice some sort of entertainment, like watching tv and msn for long hours. Even if no time to get enough sleep, at least have healthy diet, try to take lesser intake of oily food and those high-sugar portion soft drinks. That is what I have to say, take care of your health not only for your own sake, but also for your loved ones. Seeing them smile and you wont expected anything else from them.

An Enjoyable Meal
I try to rush my work, becos meeting Lionel. Nowadays, quite often go out after work with him, but always so excited to see him. He wants go Marina Square, so we meet City Hall MRT. Upon arrived, Lionel already there, he quite impatient because, even through I am still early, supposed to meet 8pm, I reached 7.50+pm. He reached too early, therefore stand there wait a few minutes.
Upon there, we walk around a while before settling down at the Food Court, he ask me why I always eat chicken rice, chao siew rice. ( He eating some sort of chicken fried rice) Because it is cheaper loh, and no need wait long for the food to be ready. After having a quick chat, we decide go Mc Donald.
This Lionel ah, go Mc Donald always say want to one which no much people, pleasant environment. Wah lau, Mc Donald, where got few people one, I suggest trying out the Suntec outlet. Due to it being a weekday, the people is not much, imagine a weekend and he want to go one with less people dunt know how. We find a quite area to sit, and I help Lionel order his Oreo McFlurry while I try out the strawberry sundae. It doesnt taste nice, first try, next time I continue eating the sundae hot fudge, taste much better. While eating, we begin our conversation. We talk about cell group members, many of them. Also, share our thoughts on last week's Emerge, really the Emerge has been quite amazing.
Late already, we decide to take bus back, we prefer bus to mrt. But Lionel's bus at Bugis, so I accompany him walk there. So another day is over, look forward to going out with him soon.

Busier Life
But at least the part-time work I do is something I like. I really enjoy serving people, in the process getting the satisfaction. i may be physical tired when working two jobs, but I believe that I can cope. Having a spirtual life certainly help, especially the theory of what u sow, u will reap. I believe all my hard work will pay off. Anyway, even though working part-time may be tedious, at least the time will be well-spent.

Just Another Day
Upon entering, we had our seat at the left side of the camera. Knowing that the session was about to start, I went to the toilet first in case the whole service was too long. I was suprised that the male toilet also need to queue. By the time I went back, the costume design competition was almost over, as the winner was being announced. I just got a glaspe of Sin Man and her model, Jennifer. Too far to see exactly how was the makeover like. No point crying over spoilt milk, the service soon begun. As usual, we stared singing worship songs.
The hightlight is when Liu Geng Hong come on stage to promote his new album. I was suprised to see he proposed to his girlfriend, Vi Vi, the well-known previous Miss Taiwan universe. After Vi Vi accepted his proposal, me and many others were very touched, the love is really very strong. I feel they are a match from heaven, and City Harvest was certainly the right place for Liu Geng Hong to carry such act. It was certainly an honour for every one of us to witness such event.
The whole session lasted 4 hrs 50 + minutes, broke the record two days before. Usually, 2 hrs plus service, I already quite tired. But recently not only does I managed to last the whole session, I also am quite energetic after the end of the session. Wonder why? But every service i go is quite meaningful.

Emerge 2007 Has Finally Arrived
Around 1.15 pm, the morning session ends, and whole bunch of people squeezing out from the crowd, and I meet the rest of the members. Didnt see Christopher, hear from Jeremy he havent recovered yet. Really sad to hear this, hope god will perform miracles on him. We go to have a meal nearby. After our meal, we go back to queue but for the night session. Well, we queue quite a while and all of us are perspiring. After entering we sit at quite the back row, dosent get a good view.
The main event is the Parade of School, where the cheer team from each group start performing their dance move and stunts on stage. This competition quite many good teams, hard to select the winner. The whole session lasts 4 hrs 30 mins, that is the longest I have attend so far.
After that, is quite late, but still managed to eat with Junguo and Lionel. Lionel has to go back early so we have a quick meal at Mac Donald in Tampines Mall. After that, just got time to catch the last bus.

Visit to Settlers Cafe
The place was quite small compared to what I have expected. As i have reached, we begin to select our orders. The prices of the food is similar as compared to other places like Cafe Cartel. But me being a poor guy have to order just ala carte fish and chip. Junguo is also poor as he order only a drink (kidding, he have his dinner already). Lionel order spaghetti, dunt know with what ingredient (never notice, engrossed in my own juicy food). Tiong Kun is the richest, order the fish and chip full set. Anyway, we order quite long, almost 10 minutes due to Tiong Kun's indecisiveness. Luckily, the service crew attending to us is quite a patient lad.
After taking down our orders, the service crew ask if we want to play any board games. Lionel and I actually dunt want, save money. But Junguo, Tiongkun wants, so we have to play loh. Anyway, 12 dollars per table seems fine. So we begin playing, we decide to play a boardgame ( dunt remember the game title, sorry). It is a game that allows us to send scholars to school of other players. And the scholars got enter into the school, they will earns different amount of income depending on which school they enter. After the ends of few rounds, the player who have most money will win. (can guess who win already) So we proceed to playing. Tiong kun keep helping me and Junguo thinks we allie so he start helping lionel. Both of them make it very obvious. Me try to play fairly, helping whoever give me more benefits. Lionel play most fairly, and in the end, he emerge winner of this game, congratulations, with the help of Junguo. Tiongkun is the loser with the less money remaining.
Next boardgame is Munchkin, where we play with magic cards. The cards got differents type; which type of peoples, which classes, and negative and positive cards to choose from. After defeating each monster, we upgrade one level. The person reaching level 10 wins. On the last few rounds, I get a bad card, allow the other two guys (Junguo, Tiongkun) to choose any of my power cards. Sad to say, this ruins any of my chances to win. Junguo with no challenges won this game. Need to add on is that the food need to wait quite a while, and all of us are starving but the fish and chip quite delicious, maybe taste so because I am very hungry.
After the game. We decide to leave and the receipt is served to us. I then know that the game is charge by an hourly rate instead of just of table rate. So, I have to pay $17. That is a lot for a thrifty guy like me. The rest of them also pays until become poor, especially Tiong Kun for ordering a set meal.
Next we go McDonald a few distances away. i actually intend to chat, but end up listening to tiongkun's lame jokes. But he at least give one mathematics question that is worth listening. Well, after that, it is time to catch the last bus. On the bus, i happen to see an poly friend, Yong Xin with his girlfriend. Me will catch up with him one day to have a nice chat. Anyway, late already, go back sleep. Me will be bugeting my spendings the next few days.

Pirates of Carribean 3 review
i got count how many times Singapore is mentioned. Guess what. A total of 7 times. Thanks. Doesnt hear it mentioned any other country. The ending is sad. That William Turner become the ghost ship's captain. That he may only see his lover once every 10 years. That is incredible long. Anyway, this movie is quite tragic as compare to the last two episodes. But this episode is quite refreshing. Anyway, Jack Sparrow become a free man and he continue his journey of sea adventure.

I wish to express myself to some of my greatest friends so far in life, pondering if they are reading this:
Christopher: have to mention this guy first, why, becos know him since Primary One, deep in my mind, he is always my best friend, yet the sad thing is that he is always that busy, even hard to have a good chat with him. Wish we can be as good as in our Primary school days. Miss those days together. No matter that, i am very proud of his achievement.
Lionel: Even thought know him not long, really glad that God send him as a blessing to bring me joy. This kid is really very adorable and nice to people. If I got any words need someone to confide to, he is one of the first person that come to my mind. Really enjoys chatting with him. Always excited to go outing with him.
Junguo: Well, this person is a guy of few words but he is a good listener and if anything I need help, he will advice me. hope I will be also be of his help.
Vino: I have to say that I regarded her as a great sister. She is someone who is very cheerful and talkative. Always lively when she is with us.
Tiong Kun: What, this guy really talkative. He really enjoys talking, but it is good to chat with him. He always make us laugh. but have to say that this friend is really worth knowing
